A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the Wednesday morning burglary of a pawn shop in Lakewood that led police to close a busy intersection during the morning rush hour, according to a news release from the Lakewood Police Department.
Bronson Thomas Moore, 31, was arrested in connection with the burglary and is being held at the Jefferson County Jail, the release said.

At 4:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of a burglary at the EZ Pawn pawn shop at the 7000 block of West Colfax Avenue. When officers arrived the glass was broken in one of the doors and someone was inside the shop, the release said.
The suspect refused to come out and police set up a perimeter around the store. The suspect was eventually taken into custody with the help of a K-9 officer, the release said.
Police believe that the suspect used a stolen truck to ram the business to get inside, the release said.
Lakewood police shut down busy eastbound Colfax Avenue and southbound Wadsworth Boulevard for about an hour Wednesday morning as they investigated the crime, a Lakewood police tweet said.
