In July, Jennings was convicted of first-degree murder in the poisoning death of her 69-year-old father, William Mussack.

On Jan. 10, 2018, police and Colorado Bureau of Investigation officers, executing a search warrant, found Mussack’s body buried in a basement crawl space in the Federal Heights home, 10022 Eliot Circle, he had shared with Jennings.

The sentence was handed down by Adams County District Judge Don Quick.
