A Cessna aircraft ran off the runway at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport Wednesday night and the pilot was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.
Just before 8 p.m. crews responded to a plane crash near Rocky Mtn. Metropolitan Airport. A Cessna ran off the runway and onto W. 120th Ave. The road is closed while the investigation is ongoing. The pilot was transported with non-life threatening injuries. NTSB to investigate.

The incident happened just before 8 p.m., according to the North Metro Fire Rescue District.
The plane came to a stop on West 120th Avenue, the fire department said. The road has been closed for cleanup and investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
The pilot’s injuries are not life threatening, the fire department said.
