Denver homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at East Colfax Avenue and North Verbena Street Sunday night, according to a police tweet.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to a 10:42 p.m. tweet. The victim’s name and age have not been released.
The shooting was initially considered a death investigation. Homicide detectives are now investigating the death, according to a Denver police tweet.
“Unknown suspect at this point,” the 10:42 p.m. police tweet said.
