Faith Christian earned a win when they beat University 26-7 on Friday.
Edoardo Castaneda spearheaded the Faith Christian rushing attack by gaining 248 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 9.5 yards per carry.
University quarterback Chayden Cox led the passing attack with 126 yards through the air. Cox also added 27 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Chayden Cox’s favorite receiver in the ballgame was Tayt Chacon, who caught seven passes for 61 yards.
Caden Measner paced all University rushers with 57 yards in the contest, averaging 7.1 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Faith Christian heading to play Denver West and University taking on Eaton.
