Limon easily defeated Yuma by a score of 37-0 on Friday, Oct. 11.
Trey Hines powered Limon’s passing attack with 98 yards through the air. Alex Carr lead all Limon receivers with three catches for 83 yards.
Limon’s ground attack was spearheaded by Kory Tacha who tallied 146 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. Jeremiah Leeper added 123 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, averaging 8.8 yards per carry.
Yahir Trejo paced all Yuma rushers with 11 yards in the contest.
Looking ahead to their next games, Limon will stay home and play Burlington, while Yuma will travel to play Wiggins.
