South Park couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Haxtun squad, losing by a score of 50-22 on Saturday.
Michael Kelley led South Park’s passing attack with 78 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and two interception. Kelley also added 100 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Bobby Wallace lead all South Park receivers with one catch for 30 yards.
South Park’s ground attack was lead by Silas Newton who tallied 122 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 11.1 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, Haxtun will play host to Byers, while South Park will travel to play Custer County.
