Welcome to The Rock!
Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh was in Aurora on Tuesday visiting with one of his top recruits — Eaglecrest offensive lineman Reece Atteberry and his family.
Atteberry is one of the top o-line recruits in the 2020 high school class, and among eight in the state committed to play for a Division-I program next fall, .
While in town, Harbaugh and his offensive line coach Ed Warinner enjoyed a meal with the Atteberry family at a local establishment in southeast Aurora,
thanking coach Harbaugh and coach Warinner for coming out and making him feel like family.

Atteberry wasn’t the only one feeling the family love Tuesday night since they selected The Rock as the location for dinner with the Michigan coaches.
The Rock is a family-owned restaurant where owners Barbara Finnin and Laura Dunston have taken pride in being involved with the Aurora’s youth since their doors opened in 2002.
Whether it’s giving jobs to high school students, sponsoring sports teams, hosting fundraisers or supporting , the folks at The Rock aim to make people feel at home.
“We have had the 5A state championship trophy for boys and girls basketball visit The Rock two of the past three years. The Grandview girls went back-to-back and then Eaglecrest and Grandview boys won in back-to-back years,” Finnin said. “We have built such great relationships with these schools and teams that they all have wanted to come in and share their celebrations and successes with their friends and family at The Rock.
“The fact that Reece Atterberry chose our establishment to visit while hosting coach Harbaugh means the world to us. We strive for families like the Atteberrys and others to feel like The Rock can be a home away from home. A safe place to go with the people you care about most and share in laughs and enjoyable memories.”
Atteberry, who verbally committed to play for the Wolverines in June 2019, thanked both Michigan coaches in a tweet, saying he “can’t wait to be a Wolverine.”
