Lakewood could not overcome Vista PEAK Prep in 55-49 loss on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Mikayla Jones lead Vista PEAK Prep with 16 points scored while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Seairra Hughes and Breanna Jefferson also had solid performances contributing 14 points and nine points, respectively.
Lakewood was lead in scoring by Nadia Trevizo-Medina who put up 20 points, while also collecting two rebounds and three assists. Mariah Ramos recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
Next up for each team, Vista PEAK Prep will play host to Adams City, while Lakewood will travel to play Fairview.
