The Meeker Cowboys earned a win when they defeated the Vail Christian Saints 57-40 on Saturday.
Sarah Kracht lead Meeker with 17 points scored while also recording nine rebounds and one assist. Julia Dinwiddie recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and collecting 14 rebounds.
Vail Christian was lead in scoring by Maddie Ellsworth who accounted for 15 points, while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Abigail Kuhns helped the effort by chipping in nine points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Meeker heading to play De Beque and Vail Christian taking on Basalt.
