Police have arrested a male for investigation of killing one person and seriously injuring a second in a double shooting at a Grand Junction truck stop Sunday night.
One victim suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive, according to a Grand Junction Police Department news release on Facebook.
The double shooting happened at around 8:30 p.m. at the Pilot Travel Center truck stop at 2222 Highway 6, the news release said.
When police arrived they found two victims with gun shot wounds, it said. One of the victims was later pronounced dead.
The identities of the victims and the suspect have not been released.
