The Fruita Monument Wildcats earned a win when they defeated the Montrose Indians 44-39 on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Fruita Monument was lead in scoring by Callie Allen who scored 20 points while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Lila Dere helped by chipping in 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Montrose was lead in scoring by Caraline Burwell who put up nine points, while also collecting three rebounds and one assist. Josie Eccher and Jaycie Casebolt also had notable outings contributing eight points each.
Next up for each team, Montrose will play host to Durango, while Fruita Monument will travel to play Grand Junction.
