The Calhan Bulldogs narrowly lost to the Ellicott Thunderhawks in a 71-67 game on Saturday.
Ellicott was paced in scoring by Chris Jones who accounted for 33 points while also grabbing four rebounds. Kaleb Mondragon had a respectable night, recording 14 points, two rebounds and two assists.
Looking ahead to their next games, Ellicott will stay home and play Crowley County, while Calhan will travel to play Limon.
