Nucla defeated Caprock Academy by a score of 40-24 on Friday.
Nucla was lead in scoring by Emme Rushing who put up 11 points. Jacquelyn Terrell helped the effort by chipping in eight points and five rebounds.
Caprock Academy was paced in scoring by Niah Klein who put up 10 points while collecting eight rebounds. Eva Green aided the effort by chipping in four points and five rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Nucla will stay home and play Non Varsity Opponent, while Caprock Academy will travel to play Vail Christian.
