The Vanguard School owned the interior, grabbing 64.5 of all rebounds and blocking four shot attempts in their 83-55 victory over Salida on Friday, Feb. 14.
Dominique Clifford lead The Vanguard School with 41 points scored while also collecting 18 rebounds and six assists. Joseph Padilla had a solid night, recording 17 points, five rebounds and two assists.
Salida was paced in scoring by Leif Gislason who scored 17 points, while also recording seven rebounds and one assist. Myles Godina had a notable night, scoring 13 points.
The Vanguard School will stay home and play James Irwin, while Salida will travel to play Sangre de Cristo.
