Bayfield outlasts Monte Vista, winning by a score of 53-37 on Friday, Feb. 14.
Bayfield was lead in scoring by Landon Kennedy who accounted for 19 points while also collecting 11 rebounds. Crosby Edwards had a productive night, recording 10 points.
Monte Vista was lead in scoring by Tyrese Otero who scored nine points, while also collecting six rebounds and one assist. Nick Torrez and Daniel Vargas also had notable outings contributing seven points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Bayfield heading to play Pagosa Springs and Monte Vista taking on Montezuma-Cortez.
