
This week Gov. Jared Polis announced that some counties could begin allowing large-scale events as early as July, and all will be able to reopen bars and some additional services next week.
Counties that want to move into that phase need to show the virus is only circulating at low levels, the number of cases is trending downward and that they have the capacity to use testing and tracing to stop small outbreaks from growing, Polis said. Read more from Meg Wingerter…

Here are the new locations and times for COVID-19 testing:
- Thursday — Sam’s Club, 7805 E. 35th Ave., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturday — New Hope Baptist Church, 3701 Colorado Blvd, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- June 23 — The Center for African American Health, 3350 Hudson St., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- June 27 — Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1500 S. Dayton St., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On the last day of Colorado’s legislative session, yesterday, lawmakers sent the governor several bills that they hope will provide relief to Coloradans affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The bills are aimed at helping Coloradans struggling during whatap both a public health crisis and an economic one, as many have to make decisions about their health and whether they can afford to miss work or, if they’ve lost their jobs, how they can still pay their bills.
