Two suspects have been arrested in the shooting deaths of a man and woman outside a Westminster bar.
The double homicide happened early March 6 in the 6800 block of Lowell Boulevard, according to Westminster police. Several witnesses told police that a fight escalated into the shooting. Both victims were found lying in a parking lot and were taken to a hospital, where they died.
On Friday night, police arrested Steven Ray Muniz, 39, and Robert Ernest Manzanares, 43, as suspects. Muniz was arrested for investigation of first-degree murder and attempted murder, police said. Manzanares is suspected of accessory to first-degree murder.
Westminster and Thornton police and a North Metro Task Force were involved in the arrests.
