One of two former Colorado prep stars on the squad — along with Jordyn Poutler — Washington is one of the state’s most decorated volleyball players. At Doherty High School, she led the undefeated Spartans to the Class 5A state title in 2012 and was twice named the Gatorade Colorado volleyball player of the year. In college, she was a three-time first-team All-American at Penn State, leading them to an NCAA title as a freshman. At the national level, she has been a part of two gold-medal winning FIVB Nations squads and helped the U.S. to the gold at the Pan-American Cup in 2018.
Competing: July 25, 27, 29, 31 and Aug. 2 for the preliminary round. Aug. 4, 6 and 8 for the knockout rounds.
