Denver FBI bureau joins search for missing YouTube personality Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito

The search for a missing woman, Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito, who was on a cross-county trip including stops in Colorado, continues Friday as the FBI and multiple law enforcement agencies look for the 22-year-old.

Petito was last known to be in the area of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming in late August and was reported missing on Sept. 11, according to the FBI. She and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, were visiting national parks in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, traveling in a 2012 white Ford Transit van.

Laundrie on Sept. 1 without her. The van has since been impounded by investigators and processed for clues. Laundrie has been described as a person of interest in her disappearance.

Petito documented the trip on Instagram and YouTube, including a Colorado stop at the . The YouTube documentary, “Van Life: ,” has about 1.4 million views.

Police in Moab released body-cam footage Thursday, showing officers interacting with Petito and Laundrie. Police pulled the van over after it was swerving and hit a curb.

No piece of information is too small or inconsequential to help investigators, the FBI said.
