A teenager was shot in Aurora on Saturday, police said.
The shooting happened in the area of East Jewell Avenue and East Colorado Drive, according to police.
The 16-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police said in a 6:25 p.m. Twitter post.
Police did not release suspect information. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
