Denver weather: Foggy morning to be followed by sunny skies Thursday

Patchy fog before 10 a.m. is expected to give way to sunny skies with a high of 69 degrees on Thursday in Denver, the National Weather Service said.

Winds reaching 5 to 11 mph are expected, gusting up to 18 mph.

A chance of a few snow showers could occur in the mountains, while the far eastern plains could experience light rain, the weather service said.

Sunny, warm weather is also expected on Friday and Saturday, with highs of 82 and 85 degrees. Winds are forecast between 7 and 14 mph, gusting up to 22 mph, on Friday, before picking up to 6 to 16 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.

The next chance of rain comes between 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, bookended by dry, sunny weather.
