Prosecutors charged a suspect with murder Friday in the killing of a man whose body was found in an Aurora field in March.
The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office charged Ever Rodriguez-Tejada, 26, with first- and second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Jesus Jose Rodriguez Jr., 50, on March 25.
Rodriguez’s body was discovered in a field near East 56th Avenue and E-470.
The case was filed in Adams County District Court.
Rodriguez-Tejada will next appear in court on Sept. 16.
