Three people shot in Denver were taken to a hospital, and the suspected gunman was stabbed, police said.
The shooting happened early Saturday in the 600 block of East 49th Avenue, police said in 4:18 a.m. Saturday tweet.
UPDATE: Three additional victims related to this shooting have been transported to the hospital from a secondary location with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting suspect was taken to a hospital, and will be arrested when he is released from medical care, police said.
The shooting victims’s wounds were described as not life-threatening. An investigation is ongoing.
