Two people were killed in south Denver late Saturday night after a two-vehicle crash.
The crash occurred in the area of Santa Fe Drive and West Mississippi Avenue, police said on Twitter.
Police believe the driver of a truck went into the opposite side of the road on Santa Fe, crashing into an SUV. The driver and passenger in the SUV both have died, authorities said.
Three people in the truck were transported to the hospital with serious injuries but will survive, police said.
The truck driver, who was not named, is being held on investigation of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault, police said.
