Westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Wheat Ridge reopened Monday evening after a five-hour closure for hazmat cleanup of a cement truck that rolled over on the road.

The Colorado Department of Transportation at 2:17 p.m Monday closed all westbound lanes at the 32nd Avenue/Youngfield exit and reopened them at 7:12 p.m.

The cement truck overturned after blowing a tire, according to Wheat Ridge police. The driver of the truck was OK, but the crash dumped cement and fuel on the highway.
