A body was recovered Wednesday from Clear Creek in Adams County.
Emergency responders were called to the area of West 62nd Avenue and Beach Street for a water rescue, according to Adams County Fire Rescue.
When rescue crews arrived they found the victim, who was deceased, ACFR said in a 4:19 p.m. tweet.
A passerby spotted the victim in the water and 911 was called at about 3:30 p.m., said Sgt. Adam Sherman, a sheriff’s spokesman.
The sheriff’s office remains on scene and the incident is under investigation.
