The shooting happened at Colfax Avenue and Broadway, police said in a 1:37 p.m. Friday tweet.
Two suspects exchanged gunfire at the busy intersection near the Colorado Capitol building and fled the area on foot, police said. A search for the suspects is ongoing.
The woman who was shot “is believed to be a bystander,” police said. Her injuries are described as “not life-threatening.”
