An unarmed Colorado man in crisis died after being detained by a mental health response team. The coroner ruled it a homicide.

Attorney for Kevin Dizmang’s family released body camera footage of the November incident on Wednesday

A still image from a body camera video shows Kevin Dizmang, 63, held to the ground by a Colorado Springs police officer and paramedic while responding to a Nov. 15 call that Dizmang was experiencing a mental health crisis. Dizmang died in custody and the coroner ruled his death a homicide.
