Candance Weber, 46, has been identified as the woman who died after being pulled from the Boulder Creek Wednesday morning, according to the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.

An investigation will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.

Just after 4 a.m. Wednesday, Boulder police and Boulder Fire-Rescue received a report that a woman who had been camping near the creek had fallen into the water.

First responders searched the creek until police spotted the woman in the water and worked to pull her out. Firefighters administered CPR until the woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Weber later died at the hospital, according to tweets from Boulder police and fire officials.

According to a spokesperson for the Boulder Police Department, foul play is not suspected.

Wednesday’s death marks the third  in the last month. On June 11, 9-year-old Romeo Alvarez died after falling off his tube. Less than a week later, 48-year-old Bibiana Mendiola Bocanegra  and then  on June 18.

Both Alvarez and Bocanagra were identified as Greeley residents.

While wet conditions have led to higher water levels, Boulder Creek  officials set for enacting any restrictions on the creek.
