on Tuesday were investigating a homicide west of downtown near the intersection of Federal Boulevard and 19th Avenue.
The identity of the victim was not released.
Police were working at the scene — a couple blocks northwest of Empower Field at Mile High — after responding to a report of a dead body shortly after midnight, according to agency postings on Twitter. Denver’s Office of the Medical Examiner is expected eventually to release the identity of the victim.
Other details about the victim, including their gender and age, or about the investigation were not available.
