Three people found dead at a Parker home and nearby trail in Douglas County were involved in an apparent murder-suicide,
Investigators believe Brandon Timms, 38, fatally shot Angel Meyers, 43, at a home on Blackwolf Drive in Parker before driving to the Reuter-Hess Incline Trail and fatally shooting a boy and himself, according to a news release published Thursday afternoon.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Parker Police Department did not say whether Timms and Meyers were related or whether either of them were related to the boy who was killed. They also have not released the age of the boy who was killed.
Deputies responded to a medical call at the in the 13000 block of Ancestry Drive at 8:51 a.m. on Jan. 11 and found Timms and the boy dead at the scene.
Deputies requested a welfare check at the home on Blackwolf Drive, where Parker police found Meyers’ body and a gas leak at the home.
Officers evacuated nearby homes due to the gas leak, which is also under investigation.
