A 15-year-old girl last seen in Aurora in late August has been found safe, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
The teenager, whose tribal affiliation is Cherokee, was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 in the 1300 block of Jamaica Street in Aurora, CBI officials said on Sept. 3. Law enforcement officials had previously said she was last seen in the 6100 block of West 13th Avenue in Lakewood.
Around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, CBI officials said the 15-year-old had been found safe.
