Denver’s “Pride of the Points” fire station added to National Register of Historic Places

All-Black fire crews operated out of the station between 1931 and 1957, when the Denver Fire Department was desegregated

Denver Fire Station No. 3 is the longest continually running firehouse in the city and, until 1957, was the city's only all-Black firehouse, according to History Colorado.
