The girl disappeared from the 300 block of Wright Street, police say

A 17-year-old Lakewood girl with a developmental disability was safely located Friday morning after going missing Thursday afternoon, police say.

Colorado’s Bureau of Investigation published an alert Friday morning asking members of the public to call police if they saw the teen.

A few hours later, the Lakewood Police Department wrote in a social media post that the girl had been found.
