The three-vehicle crash closed traffic in all directions for more than three hours Wednesday morning at the intersection of East Smoky Hill Road and South Chambers Road in Aurora.
Two people were taken to hospitals for treatment of serious injuries, . The crash happened at 9:55 a.m.
The Aurora police traffic unit is investigating the crash and the intersection was closed for several hours. The police department recommends using East Quincy Avenue and South Buckley Road as alternate routes.
Police have not reported a cause of the crash.
