Missing people in the Denver metro: Man missing from Centennial since New Year’s Eve found safe

The man, who has cognitive impairments, told the assisted living facility where he lives that he was going to see a friend

Jan. 23 — Centennial man missing since New Year’s Eve found safe

A 75-year-old Centennial man who was reported missing after he left an assisted living facility on New Year’s Eve and never returned has been found safe, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The man had last been seen at the Abbey Road Assisted Living Facility, 8155 S. Newport Way, at 2 p.m. Dec. 31. He told staff he was taking a taxi to a friend’s house and would return the next morning, but never came back.

The man has cognitive impairments that could affect his memory and does not have a car or phone.

Jan. 6 — Thornton man missing since Nov. 26 found safe

A 45-year-old man who was last seen Nov. 26 in Thornton has been found safe.

Police said the man has diminished mental capacity and requires medication that he did not have with him. He is unfamiliar with the area, relies on full-time caretakers and does not have a cellphone or vehicle.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said the man was safely located on Jan. 6.

Dec. 29 — Missing Lakewood woman last seen Dec. 22 found safe

A 26-year-old Indigenous woman who was missing for more than a week was found safe Monday, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The woman was last known to be near the 550 block of S. Webster Street in Lakewood at about noon on Dec. 22, according to a from the agency.

CBI officials said she was found safe in a on Monday, more than nine days after she was last seen.

Dec. 25 — Missing Denver woman last seen Christmas morning

A Denver woman went missing early Christmas morning and was last seen at her home in the 3100 block of West Avondale Drive around 8 a.m. on Dec. 25, Denver police posted on X.

Jaqueline Santiago, 58, was last seen wearing a gray sweater and black pants.

She is described as Hispanic and is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Santiago has diminished cognitive abilities, according to police.

Dec. 24 — Missing Fort Collins man thought to be in Denver area found safe

A Fort Collins man missing since late November who was thought to be in the Denver area has been found safe, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The 46-year-old man associated with the Bad River Tribe had last been seen Nov. 25.

Dec. 9 — Denver man, 55, missing since September

A 55-year-old Denver man is missing after his family last heard from him in September, according to the Denver Police Department.

Sabas Martinez spent time near the 1600 block of North Washington Street and his family has not heard from him since Sept. 10, Denver police aid Tuesday.

Police officials did not provide any additional description for Martinez.

Investigators are working to determine if he was the victim of a crime, the agency said.

Dec. 2 — Endangered 25-year-old man from Arapahoe County found safe

Arapahoe County officials have found a 25-year-old man who has a mental health condition and went missing without his medication, according to the sheriff’s office. He is safe.

The man had last been seen at about 8 a.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of W. Girard Avenue, just north of where U.S. 285 crosses Federal Boulevard, according to a from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

Nov. 20 — Thornton man missing since Sunday found safe

A 43-year-old Thornton man who is a paraplegic and who went missing Sunday without his wheelchair has been safely located, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The man has medical conditions that may have made him confused or unable to remember things, police said.

Nov. 19 — Denver woman missing since late August found safe

A 35-year-old Denver woman missing since late August was found safe as of Wednesday, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

State officials published an alert about the missing woman, who belonged to the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate tribe, on Oct. 31.

CBI officials deactivated the Missing Indigenous Person Alert on Tuesday morning.

Oct. 31 — Missing Brighton man with dementia found safe

A 70-year-old man with dementia who was last seen at 12:30 Monday afternoon was found safe, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was last seen walking east from 12200 Mangolia Way and was found safe on Wednesday morning, the sheriff’s office said.

Oct. 27 — Indigenous woman missing from Denver for months found safe

An Indigenous woman last seen in Denver more than three months ago has been found safe, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation announced Monday.

The 44-year-old woman was last spotted in the 7800 block of East Smith Road in Denver on July 6, according to a . The alert was issued on Aug. 7, a month after she disappeared.

Investigators said she was found safe in an 11 a.m. update on Monday.

Oct. 22 — 75-year-old Lakewood man found safe in Denver

A 75-year-old Lakewood man with a cognitive impairment was found safe Thursday morning in Denver, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The man was last seen near First Avenue and Teller Street at about noon on Tuesday, according to a .

He was found safe on Thursday and returned home, according to a 6:47 a.m. update from the Lakewood Police Department.

Sept. 6 — Missing Thornton man found safe

A Thornton man with a cognitive impairment reported missing Thursday was found safe as of Friday night, police officials said.

The 82-year-old man with a cognitive impairment was reported missing and was potentially near the Wiggins and Fort Morgan area. Colorado Bureau of Investigation officials deactivated a missing person alert at 10 p.m. Friday after he was safely located.

Sept. 5 — Missing Denver man with disabilities found safe

A 28-year-old Denver man with disabilities was found safe after he was last seen Aug. 29 near Paco Sánchez Park, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The man was found safe as of 2:20 p.m. Friday, CBI officials said.

Sept. 4 — 36-year-old Denver woman last heard from in June found safe

A 36-year-old Indigenous woman reported missing from Denver last month, who has been out of contact with her family for months, was found safe Thursday, according to the .

The woman last spoke with her family on June 24, .

Investigators said she was found safe and deactivated the alert shortly before 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

A 35-year-old Centennial man who went missing Monday night was found safe Thursday, according to the .

Investigators said in a on Wednesday that the man was last spotted in the 9600 block of East Geddes Avenue and requires medication that he did not have with him.

The alert was deactivated shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday.

Sept. 3 — Missing Wheat Ridge man found safe

A 72-year-old Wheat Ridge man last seen Saturday was found safe as of Wednesday morning, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The man was reported missing after he was last seen at 5 p.m. Saturday near the 7400 block of West 48th Avenue, CBI officials said in a missing person alert.

Aug. 28 — Westminster woman with cognitive impairment found safe

A 23-year-old woman last seen in Westminster on Saturday has been found safe, .

The woman has a cognitive impairment “that may alter her judgement and/or mental state,” according to a Colorado Bureau of Investigations missing person alert. She was last seen Saturday near the 3200 block of West 96th Circle in Westminster.

She was found safe Thursday morning, Westminster police said.

Aug. 26 — Denver man with cognitive impairment reported missing

An 83-year-old man with “diminished cognitive abilities” was reported missing Sunday from Denver, according to the police department.

Marvin Burton was last seen near Flanders Street and Dunkirk Way in Green Valley Ranch on Sunday, the Denver Police Department said in a .

Burton is described as a 5-foot-8-inch, 155-pound Black man with gray hair and brown eyes. He has short gray hair and a gray beard, police said. Burton was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

Aug. 9 — Man with disabilities missing from Arapahoe County fast-food restaurant

An Arapahoe County man is missing after he never came back from a work break at an Arapahoe County Sonic Drive-In, sheriff’s officials said.

Miguel Angel Vasquez-Morales, 30, went missing after he didn’t come back from his break at 7 p.m. Thursday in the 7700 block of East Iliff Avenue.

Vasquez-Morales has disabilities and functions at a 12-year-old level, sheriff’s officials said. He often takes public transportation and was found in Thornton, Brighton and Boulder when he’s previously gone missing.

A 74-year-old woman missing from a Centennial neighborhood has been found safe, said said Friday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office had earlier Friday said that the woman was last seen near the 17500 block of East Crestline Avenue in Centennial at around 6:30 a.m. July 18.

July 14 — Missing Indigenous man from Denver found safe

A man from the Navajo Nation who was missing since from Denver since July 2 has been found safe.

The 63-year-old was last seen in the 300 block of North Hooker Street in Denver, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

A July 14 announcement from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said the alert was canceled because the man had been found safe.
