One person was killed and two were injured in a single-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 70 near Kipling Street on Saturday morning, Wheat Ridge police said.
The Wheat Ridge Police Department reported the crash in a post on X just after 7 a.m. and said four lanes of the highway were closed near Wadsworth Boulevard.
All lanes were reopen as of 1:15 p.m., Wheat Ridge police said.
One of the people taken to the hospital is in serious condition and the second is expected to be okay, agency officials said. The crash is under investigation.
