One person was killed in a on Friday evening, the Denver Police Department said.
Officers responded to the shooting near East 48th Place and Argonne Street on Friday evening, Denver police said on social media just after 5 p.m. Friday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have not arrested any suspects in the case and the investigation is ongoing, officials said.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the man killed as Leshawn Hood, 31. He died from a gunshot wound, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the office.
