DENVER—Another major winter storm headed into Colorado’s mountains Saturday.

KUSA says the storm was preceded by strong winds in many areas. Windows were blown out in a Chipotle restaurant Friday night in Louisville.

Loveland Pass was closed for several hours by the snow and wind.

The Chinook winds raised the temperatures in some areas.

The National Weather Service says up to three feet of snow could fall, with the heaviest concentrations in the southern mountains, starting Sunday.

With long-term predictions of a dry spring, the additional snow will be appreciated by water users.
