After last week’s announcement for Buxom, a new store for full-figered women, we got an e-mail from Connie Rogers, 56, and her niece Tonia Ott, 40, who own Sassie Sisters Big and Beautiful Boutique in Arvada. Also involved in the business are Rogers’ sister and daughter, so it’s a family affair. They opened a year and a half ago, Rogers says, “to offer more color and fun than what they were giving to the plus-size woman.” The store sells such brands as Kiyonna (right), Parsley & Sage, and Erin London, and carries women’s sizes 1x to 3x, with select styles going up to 6x.
