Massachusetts-born singer-songwriter , best known for her ’90s hit “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone,” took to the stage at Stapleton’s with much apparent joy and gratitude Saturday night — and the packed house was only too happy to welcome her in kind.
Cole’s contemplative, powerful songs were consistently met with enthusiasm from the audience, who mirrored her energy throughout the set. Local artist opened for Cole, joking with the crowd between each song in his easygoing way.
