FORT LUPTON, Colo.—The Weld County Sheriff’s Department says a 13-month old boy has died after he was found face-down in a bathtub.
Authorities say 13-month-old Joseph Johnson was found Monday in his Fort Lupton home. Paramedics revived him, but he was pronounced dead at The Children’s Hospital in Denver.
The Greeley Tribune reported Wednesday that investigators say the child had been left unattended in the tub. Authorities say Joseph’s mother, Shannon Johnson, called 911 to say he wasn’t breathing.
Authorities say they are still investigating and that no decision has been made on whether to file charges.
