Fresh from his second-place finish on “Project Runway,” Denver designer Mondo Guerra will soon be in the spotlight again. He will be among the judges Nov. 18 at Frock Out, a local design competition sponsored by the Denver Public Library’s Fresh City Life program. Eleven local designers will show a half- dozen creations each and $2,000 will be awarded to the designer whose works are deemed most creative and cohesive, and demonstrates technical skill and styling savvy. The theme is “Sideshow” and participants have been asked to create pieces inspired by classic sideshow attractions — and the runway show will be accompanied by Denver burlesque and sideshow acts. The show will be at the Central Library, 14th Avenue and Broadway, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for standing room, $50 for general seating, and $100 for VIP runway seating. For tickets, visit or call 720-865-2051. Selected designs are on display at the Central Library; vote on your favorite at . (Above left, dress by Katie Wells.)
