ASPEN, Colo.—An NPR executive caught bashing the tea party movement won’t be joining the Aspen Institute.
Ron Schiller had accepted a job as director of the Aspen Institute Arts Program before a conservative activist posted a video of his comments.
On Wednesday though the Aspen Institute announced that Schiller decided not to join the organization because of the controversy.
The Aspen Institute has offices in Aspen as well as Washington, D.C. and in Maryland.
