DENVER—A man accused of killing two people in a murder-for-hire case is facing the death penalty.

The Douglas County District Attorney’s office says 27-year-old Josiah Sher will be tried the 2011 deaths of Amara Wells and Bob Rafferty.

Christopher Wells, Matthew Plake and Micah Woody are also charged with murder and numerous related offenses.

Amara Wells was the estranged wife of Christopher Wells.

According to the Denver Post ( ), no decision has been made on whether to seek the death penalty against the other defendants in the case.
