After performing just a handful of U.S. dates in the last year, retro rock star and funk master stopped in Denver on Friday night, wow’ing a packed house at the with his stage show and energy level.
Bringing with him a full band including a three piece horn section, Kravitz kept fans on their feet for the entirety of the the two hour performance.
Kravitz brings the soulful voice of Marvin Gaye, the funk of James Brown and the guitar stylings of Hendrix, giving his fans a show that lived up to his four previous Grammys.
He started the night with hits like “Come and Get it” and his hit cover of the Guess Who song “American Woman.” He concluded the show with with the trifecta combo of “Where Are We Runnin?” “Fly Away” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” During the encore he made his way to the top balcony and sang “Let Love Rule” from the crowd, mobbed by droves of swooning fans.
