Cheers to Chihuly

We’re not suggesting you stop at  for a cocktail before seeing the fab new . Things are F-R-A-G-I-L-E there to say the least, and the exhibit allows the kind of close-up access that a little booze could enhance in all the wrong ways.

But after checking out Chihuly’s brilliant blue, red, yellow and green vases and jars, and the wowing, 1,500-piece, gold Laguna Murano chandelier, it might be time to celebrate.

The hotel (800 11th St., Golden, 303-279-0100) and the art center 809 15th St., Golden, 303-279-3922) have teamed to offer several deals in the name of getting things hopping in Golden. You can get a complimentary appetizer for two at the hotel’s Bridgewater Grill if you bring in two tickets from the Chihuly exhibition. Or get $2 off admission at the exhibit with your receipt from the Bridgewater Grill.
