Lead singer Pete Quirk has one of the more distinguished voices in modern folk rock, falling somewhere between the grizzled growl of Tom Waits and the endearing whine of Neil Young. Last year’s “No Witch” was a stellar release that the band enlivens with extended instrumental jams, unique percussion arrangements and a knack for engaging the audience in a live setting.
