and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra may have seemed like an unlikely musical match just a year ago, but their indie-meets-institution collaboration produced two solid concerts in 2012,

Next up: The album due Tuesday. The two groups will celebrate the release with an in-store appearance that night at . You can buy the disc, and collect autographs after the show.

The performance will feature a couple of songs from the album, captured at the Boettcher show, and a yet-to-be determined number of players. Considering the back-up band for the actual concert featured 60 symphony musicians just about anything is possible.
